The NHPGA is pleased to support the future leaders of our industry by providing a scholarship each year to full-time environmental horticulture students. Applications are read by the Board of Directors and selection is based upon the written essay and references. We encourage all eligible students to apply!
Scholarship
The NNPGA offers two $750 scholarships each year to be awarded at our annual Winter Meeting. Scholarships will be awarded to qualified applications only as determined by the NHPGA Board of Directors.
Eligibility
Applicants should be full time students from the : University of New Hampshire Thompson School Horticulture Department or The College of Life Sciences and Agriculture Plant Biology Or Occ Ed. Department or The child of a NHPGA member currently attending a 2.4 year green industry program.
Award Presentation
The awards are presented at the annual Winter Educational meeting held in late January in Concord, NH. Although it is hoped that recipients will attend this meeting to receive their award, attendance is not mandatory.
2010 Student Scholarship Winner
Congratulations to UNH student Scot Flewelling, our NHPGA 2010 Student Scholarship award winner. Scot was awarded a $750 scholarship at NHPGA's Winter Meeting held January 19th.
